Viacom 18 Bags TV and Digital Rights for Indian Cricket Team’s Home Matches
Viacom 18, a leading media company, has secured the TV and digital rights for the Indian cricket team’s home matches for the next five years. This deal was recently announced by news agency PTI.
Details of the Deal:
- Viacom18 has won the media rights for all BCCI India matches for a total of ₹5963 crore.
- For the digital rights, Viacom18 will pay ₹3101 crore, equivalent to ₹35.23 per match.
- For TV rights, Viacom18 will pay ₹2862 crore, which amounts to ₹32.52 crore per match.
