Vijay Sethupathi’s SRK Connection
Vijay Sethupathi, who plays the antagonist in Jawan, shared an interesting anecdote during the pre-release event. He recounted an incident from his school days where he had a crush on a girl who was infatuated with Shah Rukh Khan. Vijay humorously exclaimed, “Every Jaanu has a Ram after all, but that girl was in love with SRK. It has taken these many years to have my revenge.”
SRK’s Response
In response to Vijay’s story, Shah Rukh Khan jokingly said, “You can have your revenge but not my girls. They are mine.”
Atlee’s Encounter with SRK
Atlee, the director of Jawan, shared his own story about his encounter with Shah Rukh Khan. He mentioned how he had taken a photograph outside SRK’s house 13 years ago. Years later, when Atlee approached SRK for Jawan, the gates of Mannat opened for him. Atlee happily stated, “The same gate opened and King Khan himself went, ‘Welcome, Atlee sir’.”
