Tabu and Ali Fazal have teamed up for an exciting project titled Khufiya, a spy thriller that is set to release on Netflix. Directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, this film offers audiences a thrilling peek into the world he has created.

Plot

The story follows Krishna Mehra (played by Tabu), an operative of India’s intelligence agency R&AW. She is assigned a crucial mission that puts her in the difficult position of being both a spy and a lover. Meanwhile, Ravi Mohan (played by Ali Fazal), who also works for the agency, becomes a prime suspect. The plot further delves into Operation Brutus, which involves surveillance not only on Ravi but also on his family.

Inspiration

Khufiya draws inspiration from real-life events and is based on the book “Escape to Nowhere” written by Amar Bhushan, the former Chief of the Counter Espionage Unit of R&AW.
