Akshay Kumar, who is being hailed for his performance in his latest movie ‘OMG 2’, has turned a year older on September 9. The actor was recently in news for releasing the teaser and poster of his upcoming movie with the title ‘Mission Raniganj, The great Bharat rescue’ amid the ongoing debate on the change of name from India to Bharat.

Viral Interview from ‘Sooryavanshi’ Promotions

An old interview from the time when he was promoting his film ‘Sooryavanshi’ has gone viral on the internet. Filmmaker Rohit Shetty was back then accused of making villains out of a certain caste or religion and while talking on it, during his interview with PTI, Akshay Kumar had claimed that he doesn’t believe in any religion.

  • Akshay Kumar stated, ‘I don’t believe in any religion. I only believe in being Indian and that is what the film also shows.’
  • ‘The idea of being an Indian and not about being a Parsi or a Hindu or a Muslim, we haven’t looked at it on the basis of the religion,’ he added.

A while ago, Akshay also got trolled for saying ‘I don’t know why people waste so much milk on Lord Shiva and Hanuman says mereko tel daal’.

Birthday Celebrations at Mahakaleshwar Temple

Pictures and video of the actor praying inside the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain along with niece, son Aarav, and cricketer Shikhar Dhawan have gone viral on the internet.

Akshay was seen attending the bhasma aart in traditional clothes and while coming out of the temple premises, he told a reporter, ‘Darshan de diye bus ye hi sabse badi baat hai.’
