Introduction

Actor Tinnu Anand will be seen in Prabhas starrer Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame.

Getting Feedback From Directors

Veteran actor Tinnu Anand, at the age of 77, continues to actively be part of cinema and appreciates feedback from his directors.

Changing His Accent

Prashanth Neel advised Tinnu Anand to change his accent when recording the teaser’s dialogue for Salaar.

In Salaar’s teaser, Tinnu is seen introducing Prabhas’ lead character and is advised to use simple English without his Oxford English accent.

“Simple English. No confusion. Lion, Cheetah, Tiger, Elephant. Very dangerous but not in Jurassic Park…” Tinnu said.

Prashanth Neel’s Working Method

Tinnu Anand appreciates Prashanth Neel’s dedication and method of working on set.

  • Neel narrates everything to the actor and does not rest till he gets it, no matter who the actor is.
  • He understands that it’s not just the actors in front, but also the people behind the scenes who make up the scene.

Tinnu Anand comments on the difference between South cinema and Bollywood directors.

“Here it doesn’t happen at all. Yahan pe to himmat nahi hoti hero ko kuch bolne ki and yahan pe aap baat kar rahe hai about junior artists,” he said.

Conclusion

Salaar’s release date has been postponed and the new date is yet to be announced. The film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu.
