She shared that while there were other offers, she picked the Sujoy Ghosh film because of its moody script, something different from her previous works. The actress mentioned that other offers she received were typically mainstream and commercial.

Jaane Jaan, written and directed by Sujoy Ghosh, stars Kareena Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Vijay Varma. Produced by Jay Shewakramani, Akshai Puri, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Shobha Kapoor, and Ekta Kapoor, the movie is an official adaptation of the 2005 Japanese novel “The Devotion of Suspect X” by Keigo Higashino. Jaane Jaan is set to release on September 21.
