Kangana Ranaut Reacts to Success of Gadar 2 and Pathaan
Kangana Ranaut has reacted to the massive success of Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and recently released film Jawan, which have become all-time blockbusters with their thunderous performance at the box office.
Bollywood Bouncing Back
When asked if Bollywood has bounced back, Kangana told Times Now that she believes as an industry, they have come together. The divide between North and South has been diminishing and the industry has certainly done some rethinking. “People like Sunny Deol were not in the race for too long, we need them,” she said.
Praising Shah Rukh Khan
A few days ago, Kangana had praised Shah Rukh Khan for his transformation into a mass superhero with Jawan and called him the cinema god for not just hugs and dimples but also for world saving. She had also said that SRK has emerged stronger out of his rough patch where his past few films Zero, Fan and Raees didn’t work at the box office.
Other Successful Films
Other films like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, OMG 2, Dream Girl 2, and SatyaPrem Ki Katha have also performed well at the box office.
Jawan’s Success
Meanwhile, Jawan has now become the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film after beating the lifetime business of Yash starrer KGF 2. The Atlee directorial is now aiming to surpass the collections of Gadar 2, Baahubali 2, and Pathaan.
