According to Sacnilk, the Hindi version of Jawan experienced an overall occupancy rate of 23.53% on Wednesday. The day started with morning shows having a 12.70% occupancy, but the footfalls gradually increased throughout the day. Afternoon shows recorded 19.50% occupancy, followed by evening shows with 27.35%, and night shows with the highest occupancy at 34.55%.
Success in the south regions
Jawan is not only conquering the Hindi box office but also making waves in the south regions. The Tamil version of the film had a 15.39% occupancy, and the Telugu version experienced 23.53% occupancy. These early numbers indicate that Jawan is expected to earn an impressive Rs 23 crore on its seventh day for all languages, bringing its total domestic collection to Rs 368 crore.
Global box office domination
Jawan has not only shattered records in India but has also become the fastest Hindi movie to cross the Rs 500 crore mark at the global box office. It achieved this milestone in just four days, a testament to its immense popularity worldwide. Currently, the film’s collection at the global box office stands at a staggering Rs 610 crore.
