Dream Girl 2 Achieves Hit Status with Rs 78.06 Crore Collection
Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday’s Dream Girl 2 has crossed the Rs 75 crore mark and has now attained “hit status” at the box office. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed that after its second weekend, the film has successfully minted Rs 78.06 crore.
- Dream Girl 2 still has a few more days to score before Jawan strikes on Thursday.
- The film’s poster features Ayushmann’s character Pooja standing on a car’s bonnet.
- Notable actors such as Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi, Annu Kapoor, and Abhishek Banerjee can also be seen in the poster.
Impressive First Week for Dream Girl 2
Taran Adarsh previously announced that Dream Girl 2 had an impressive week 1 at the box office. The film performed well not only in metros but also in mass pockets.

- Saturday: Rs 14.02 crore
- Sunday: Rs 16 crore
- Monday: Rs 5.42 crore
- Tuesday: Rs 5.87 crore
- Wednesday: Rs 7.50 crore
- Thursday: Rs 7.50 crore

Review: Dream Girl 2
NDTV film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave Dream Girl 2 a rating of 1.5 stars out of 5. Chatterjee praised Ayushmann Khurrana’s performance, stating that he never gives the impression of being on a sinking ship. Chatterjee also commended Manjot Singh for soldiering on gamely and providing support to the lead actor.
